MishMish´s first Cd Camaleon is a compilation of featurings with some Producers and Djs all over the world. From Cumbia (Sonidos Profundos de la Cumbia and Bigote) to Dub with Flamenco accent (Avi), and also mixing new Andino sounds (Intiche).
"Chameleon is a perfect name for MishMish’s CD. Each track features many different influences of world music and mixes them together well. MishMish collaborates with some our big guns of cumbia to bring these tracks to life."

Shazalakazoo & MishMish
Two years ago, we met at the backstage of Terrabeats Festival in Berlin. The serbian duo was impressing us totally with their show and amazing mix of gypsy music with electronic. They did a remix of one Pachazonica track and we started to work together. Now our track Rojo Rubí is included on their EP Bang Bang and available at Generation Bass, Amazon and Spotify. Actually we work on more tracks! out soon

Cumbia Dub Club is a proyect of Petardo, peruvian dj, selectah, videoartist and radio conductor living in Germany. We were working together for the Cumbia Dub Club at the Stadtfest Tübingen 2011. Der Moment um ein Festival ins Leben zu rufen, das auf Austausch, Solidarität und gegenseitiger Unterstützung basiert, erscheint uns jetzt genau richtig, denn wir denken, dass es wichtig und notwendig ist die Anwesenheit iberoamerikanischer Künstlerinnen im breiten künstlerischen Angebot Berlins erneut sichtbar zu machen.
Im Bewusstsein der vielfältigen Lebenserfahrungen, geprägt durch Herausforderungen und erreichte Ziele, und der heterogenen Zusammensetzung unserer Teilnehmerinnen, die aus den unterschiedlichsten kulturellen Kontexten kommen, sind wir überzeugt, dass genau diese „Mischung“ es ist, die provoziert, inspiriert und schließlich ´kreativ-werden-lässt´.
Berlin als unheimlich inspirierender Kontext bietet die Möglichkeit unseren Horizont permanent zu erweitern und in Bewegung zu bleiben. So möchten wir mit Hilfe der verschiedenen Kunstformen (plastische Kunst, Malerei, Fotografie, Tanz, Literatur, Musik, Performance, Design etc.) zeigen, dass wir nicht nur einfach ein Teil des multikulturellen und künstlerischen Charakters der Stadt sind, sondern dass wir diesen aktiv mit- und ausgestalten.
Kunst, in all ihren Manifestationen, überflügelt Kulturen und Sprachen und bereichert Gesellschaften. Wir haben uns in einer Gesellschaft zusammengefunden, die viele zur gleichen Zeit ist: Berlín.
